Kenny Tran is an artist, animator, and illustrator whose practice includes the exploration of intersections in and between traditional and digital media to create tangible relationships. The ability to work within various practices and approaches is central to facilitating an open space of interpretation between both the viewer and creation. His inspiration comes from film culture, social presences, and fellow peers, enabling him to be constantly exposed to new ideas and growth that engage with his creative practice.
Born and grew up in North York, Ontario, he is currently attending OCAD University for his BFA majoring in Drawing & Painting with a specialization in Digital Painting and Expanded Animation. Currently focused on developing and improving his creative voice, he aspires to share his talents as a creative director in the film industry.
